Unique Bridal Themes for the Bride-to-Be

By Sophia C.

Besides her wedding day, one of the most memorable times in any Bride's life is her Bridal shower. This is a traditional event hosted by her friends, family or co-workers to help her have time to relax and enjoy herself before she gets married. In this day and age, sometimes the Bride even chooses her own bridal shower with the people around her she most enjoys being around. Here are some ideas for Bridal shower themes:

Day at the Spa It goes without saying that planning and getting ready for a wedding is a very stressful thing in the Bride's life. It's even more stressful for her family members and her Maid or Matron of Honor whose job it is to keep the Bride's spirits up and help her enjoy this time in her life. When the stress gets to be too much, a day at the spa is just what the Bride needs to get relaxed and ready for the big day. Grab the Bride and invite the bridal party to meet you at a local spa for manicures, pedicures and massages. You will be calmer and feel so beautiful on the big day.

Make Me Over Party Ever wanted to make your look over? Well, with a make over bridal shower, you and the Bride can get a fantastic new look that will wow everyone on the wedding day. Make Over parties are getting to be very popular with bridal parties and can include lots of great make up, hairstyle and fashion tips. With your new look, you may even snag one of the bachelors at the wedding!

Make-Over Day - This is a great follow up to the spa party. Get everyone together, give each other a cool new hairstyle, add lots of glamorous make-up, swap accessories and hold a fashion show! If you can, arrange for a professional make-up artist to be there to help and definitely have someone to take pictures to save this memory. After the new Bride gets back from her honeymoon, you can present her with an album of all the photos to remember this fun event.

The Jack & Jill Party This is a great way for both the Bride and Groom to celebrate their love with friends and family before the big day. Center the event around a special place or date of where or when the couple met. Present them with gifts that they can both enjoy and use in their new home together. Be sure to add in lots of fun games and allow family members and friends to tell their stories about how they know the couple and how happy they are for them.
