Positive Affirmations for Women

By Deanna Collins

Change the way that you think and you will change your life. It sounds a lot simpler than it is. Various branches of the medical community all agree that positive thinking has great power over the mind. Even the spiritual and scientific communities are in agreement with this statement. So, using positive affirmation in your life is useful to women.

What are Positive Affirmations?

A positive affirmation is a statement you can use to replace a commonly held negative statement. For example, if you're always saying, "I feel fat," then a good positive affirmation to replace this sentiment might be, "I am comfortable with my body and am the perfect weight for me."

There is hope in a positive affirmation. Negative statements have a way of halting any future progress. It is acceptance of a false assumption. Positive affirmations focus on the thought process which is where the change begins.

Finding the Right Affirmations for You

What are your negative thoughts? Most of the time, they are so commonplace that we don't even know we are filling our minds with them. Whatever your thoughts here is a list of positive affirmations that can get the ball rolling.
