The 2009 SPEED World Challenge pro racing season starts in March at Sebring raceway. SPEED World Challenge is pleased to announce a partnership with Debaufre Watches. For the 2009 race season Debaufre is the official Fastest Lap Of The Race Award.
AutoWeek will present an award at each event, in each class, for the best pass of the race, they have been a long-time supporter of the SPEED series. AutoWeek is a bi-weekly publication which will become the SPEED World Challenge number board sponsor for the 2009 season. Debaufre watches has been announced as the sponsor of the Fastest Lap Of The Race Award. Debaufre, a U.S.-based family owned Swiss watch company, produces quality Swiss timepieces and offers high-end luxury and style at a price that's within reach. Debaufre is pronounced Day-boh-fray.
To close the 2009 season, Debaufre watches will award each 2009 Drivers' Champion with a custom-designed Debaufre watch. As the official fastest lap of the race sponsor, Debaufre watches will award a standard production Swiss watch to the GT and Touring Car driver with the fastest lap of the race at each round. Debaufre has been announced as the Official Timepiece of the 2009 Speed World Challenge Racing Season.
