How to organize a bridal shower party?

By Angela Crown

That special day in a woman's life may come sooner or later, but it's eventually coming; if you're the one dealing with putting the pieces of the puzzle altogether, you're facing a real challenge unless you're not organized enough to deal with it. However, with proper management and info, you should be able to figure everything out and throw the best party ever. Some things never change, but bridal showers aren't between those, because apparently they've evolved from the "girls night" party style into some sort of a family and friends reunion attended by the closest people around the bride and groom. No matter what the approach to this party is, there are certain things you need to take care of when planning it.

First of all, do you want to go for a themed party ? If you do, everything changes - from invitations, to decorations, costumes and menu. Whether you'll go for a pool theme, a spa party or a Halloween one, you should make a quick decision about this, since the invitations are supposed to be sent out approximately six weeks before the event.

After making up your mind about the theme issue, the location is the next thing to be concerned about - when choosing one, try to consult with at least 2 other friends about it. With the date and location set, you can order and send out the invitations - but don't forget to take everything into consideration when designing them, as they should match the theme, location, costumes, and so on; actually, they're sort of a preview on what's going to be like at the shower. Today, invitations come in various sizes and shapes, so there should be no problem with options

But soon there are more things to take care of, like decorations - and here you can include home made stuff, plus balloons, a banner with the bride and groom, candles, ribbons and many more; poems would be the perfect add-on to the whole picture and you can find many suited ones online. When planning the whole thing, take good care of the supplies (the food and cakes are the most important).

Now that you have the basics outlined, with a little creativity and a lot of work, you can host the perfect shower and make the bride and guests feel in heaven. Remember, this is just one night, so everything should be just perfect.
