The HP iPaq hx2750 is HP's latest addition to pocket PC's. The overall design is sturdy and functional - the rubber grips, on the side of the phone, make it easy for users to handle the phone, along with adding a little protection in case the phone is dropped. HP has integrated many technologies, within this PDA, including a fingerprint reader - their first ever.

The iPaq hx2750's 3.5-inch TFT touch screen offers clear, crisp images of your data. Whether you have the new clear screen protector open or closed you can easily see all accessible information, including existing battery life and available memory.

Standard available memory, on this unit, is 192MB; however, there is plenty of room for growth with additional CompactFlash and SDEO / MMC slots available. SpeedStep and Wireless MMX technologies have been tightly integrated, into the iPaq hx2750, in hopes of prolonging battery life in addition to enhancing multimedia performance.

The iPaq hx2750 operating system is Microsoft Windows Mobile for Pocket PC 2003 Edition. With this OS there are many applications already installed and ready to use: Pocket Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Windows Media Player 9.0. Security, on this unit, is high. HP integrated the ProtectTools software, VPN- and WEP-enhanced security, along with the fingerprint reader which uses Credant security software - all of which provide the utmost security to their users. For quality performance the iPaq hx2750 runs on an Intel 624MHzXscale processor and 128MB RAM and also has WiFi, Bluetooth, and Serial IR.

As great as this all sounds, there is a minor setback with the price of the unit - averaging around $549. The sticker price, on the iPaq hx2750 makes this PDA more accessible by the business market rather than typical consumers. There are a number of options, for PDA's, on the market that consumers can fit into their budgets a little easier than this one.

HP integrated their SpeedStep and Wireless MMX technologies in hopes in increasing the battery life, between charges, on the iPaq hx2750. Unfortunately it does not appear as though this has happened. The longest stretch of battery life appears to be around 4 1/2 hours. This is only if wireless and all other applications are turned off. Granted, the battery life on any Pocket PC is not extensive.

PDA's vary in size, but typically, are bigger than a typical cell phone. The iPaq hx2750 measures in at 4.7" x 3" x 0.6" and weighs around 5.8 ounces. In addition, that rubber grip that helps to grip and protect the phone, adds to the overall size of the phone. All-in-all, this pocket PC is not one of the smallest out there, and by appearance alone, appears to be a bit bulky (not so much that it is obtrusive).

Overall, if you're looking for functionality, and not style, the HP iPaq hx2750 is a great fit - if you can fit it into your budget. The applications, security, and functionality, offered to you through this PDA, is hard to pass up.

The acting life is one that requires constant readiness and the ability to go with the flow. You`ll need to be prepared for anything that could come up, if you really want to work. Meeting with a casting agency is one of the most valuable things you can do in your career as an actor and it`s important to make a good impression. So, what should you do? We`ve put together a few tips to help you out.

What to Wear

Perhaps one of the most stressful parts of preparing for an open casting call is figuring out what to wear, since it`s not specific. Keep in mind that they are going to be looking at who you are, so keep it simple.

Stick to dark, flattering colors and avoid patterns. You don`t want to distract the casting directors with loud clothing.

Go for neat, but not too formal. Nice, dark jeans and a simple tank top or wife beater work very well.

Keep it fitted. Opting for fitted clothes will let the casting directors see what your body type is and this will help them decide if you are right for their casting agency.

Be decent and avoid plunging necklines or super short skirts since this could give the wrong impression. It`s fine to play up your sexiness a bit, but don`t go too far overboard.

Bring along a few extras, such as ponytail holders, a jacket, etc. These can be useful for changing your look if needed. Often casting directors will ask you to change your look slightly if they have a particular role in mind.

Makeup and Hair

In general, you should do your hair like you normally would. For men, this could mean a little gel or even just plain. For women, a ponytail or loose is optimal. Be prepared to change it if needed, putting your hair up, etc. so your face can be seen easier.

Makeup should be kept to a minimum. Remember that the casting company is interested in you, not your makeup skills, so either wear nothing at all, or keep it very natural . . . a little blush, eye shadow and some lip gloss.

Other Things to Remember

To make sure that your meeting with the casting company is a success, there are a few other things to keep in mind.

First of all, getting to the call early is vital. There will likely be a lot of competition if it`s an open call and you`ll need to be among the first to make a good impression. Arriving early will also make sure that you get in quickly, and won`t have to wait so long.

For waiting, be sure to bring something to do that will relax you. Many people find that a book or newspaper to read is ideal. Being calm and relaxed will let you make a better impression in the casting room, which is always a bonus. Otherwise, you can work on your monologue or prepare mentally for meeting the casting company.

Remember that the casting company is more interested in who you are as a person, not your makeup or wardrobe, so keep things simple and strive to be yourself. You`ll have a far better chance of being chosen this way.

Casting calls don`t have to be a huge stress. As long as you are properly prepared, you should be able to be relatively stress free when going in to meet with the casting company.

Canada's Angel - Celine Dion

One of the most infamous French recording artists, in history, is Celine Dion. Celine Dion is an extremely talented artist who is able to sell millions of copies, of her albums, in a matter of days - even after so many years in the business. She not only catches the attention of French audiences, but English audiences as well.

While Celine was headlining in Las Vegas, every show sold out. Fans were only able to purchase tickets if they did so months in advance. Celine's live performances are pure magic, with lavish costumes and amazing choreography. Celine is definitely passionate about her career, and this passion comes through as she sings range of octaves more beautiful than a sunset.

Celine Dion was born in Charlemagne, Quebec, Canada, and was one of 14 children. Celine started singing at the age of 12. Her first song was written by her, and recorded by her mother, at home. By the age of 18, Celine was insistent on becoming a pop star. Angelil helped Celine to change her look, giving her what she needed to be noticed. During this time, Celine went to school to learn English, giving her a chance, not only on the French market, but in America too. Not too long after this transformation, Celine's albums hit the American Market, with several songs hitting the charts.

At the age of 23 Celine was approached, by Disney, to perform the theme song for "Beauty and the Beast". The following year Celine was awarded with a Grammy and an Oscar for this performance. During this time, her second English album was also released.

When Celine was 26 years old, she and Angelil were married. Just a couple years later, in 1996, she released her album called "Falling into You", which won her two Grammy's in 1997: Best Pop Album and Album of the Year. This was another big year for Celine as she also performed the song "My Heart Will Go On" for the soundtrack of "Titanic". This song captivated audiences around the world.

In 1999, Celine took a small break to nurse her husband back to health while he was being treated for cancer. In 2001, Celine and Angelil became the proud parents of a gorgeous son.

Canada, her home country, continued to support Celine throughout her entire career. When she was due to tour through her home province of Quebec, the tickets sold out within two hours! Celine continues to produce albums in both English and French, while also balancing her family life. She is a beloved, talented, woman who has melted the hearts of many.

WANTED: Wesley, an office worker going nowhere in life, learns that his long lost father is a professional killer. His father has been murdered, now Wesley is asked to join into the group of assasins that his dead father was involved with. He is asked to become the professional killer that that he was destined to become. From that point on, this movie gets very complex and twisted. Enjoy this roller coaster ride.

WALL-E: This picture is an animated, comedy, adventure, sci-fi. Mankind has left Earth, since it had become a pile of rubbish. Wall-E, a trash collecting robot, is assigned to clean up the mess. When a recon bot (Eve) appears, checking for any signs of life, Walle-E has a friend. Eventually, when Eve is recovered by the craft that sent her, Wall-E sneaks aboard, and begins an exciting new life.

BOLT: Bolt: This movie is an animated comedy. The star is dog actor Bolt, who in his TV show, has superpowers. His problem is that he honestly believes he has superpowers. When he is accidently put into a real life situation, he discovers that he is just a dog. Now, trying to get back home, he is helped by a cat named Mittens, and an overweight hampster named Rhino.

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS: Wild and crazy nights in Las Vegas are normal. Barely remembering what had happened, Jack and Joy get up the next day and find out that they are married. When they win a $3 million jackpot, the question is who should get the money, so they try to settle it in court. The strange ruling is that they must stay together for six months, and try to make their marriage work. With $3 million on the line, they conspire to make each other quit the marriage, as they are both determined to have the cash for themselves.

THE CHRONICALS OF NARNIA, PRINCE CASPIAN: It is one year later, in "real" time, when Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are teleported back to Narnia. Running for his life, Prince Caspian has blown the magin horn, in a desparate plea for help. In Narnia, 1,300 years have passed since they were Kings and Queens, but they have been called back to rescue Narnia from an evil fate. He then comes to learn that he is not the only one that has this skill. After years of "jumping" around the planet, he is exposed to hunters that think jumpers are a threat, and need to be eliminated. He now must battle for his life, as these paladins want him dead.

THE DARK KNIGHT: In this film Batman, and law enforcement officials, are on a mission to clean up Gotham City. Things are going very well, until a new criminal mastermind shows up, and attacks the city. Now, Batman really has his hands full, as the Joker is dispensing his criminal plots on the big city.

These days just about everyone buys or rents films when the come out on DVD, and views them on their home entertainment system. TWENTY ONE: Twenty One basically recounts an amazing true story of young college kids who formed a team of blackjack players that beat the casinos. This team of blackjack players prepared and then enacted a ruthless attack on the tables. To be successfull in Las Vegas, where card counting can get you banned, they had to change casinos often, and disguise themselves, so the wouldn't get caught.
