One of the most infamous French recording artists, in history, is Celine Dion. At the age of 23 Celine was approached, by Disney, to perform the theme song for "Beauty and the Beast". The following year Celine was awarded with a Grammy and an Oscar for this performance. During this time, her second English album was also released.

Just a couple years later, in 1996, she released her album called "Falling into You", which won her two Grammy's in 1997: Best Pop Album and Album of the Year.
