Lately I have been asked the question by people wanting to lose weight. What's the fastest way to lose weight. Well, there are many ways we can lose weight quickly but we need to start off with the basics..

What should we be drinking?

The first thing you need to do is to make sure you drink plenty of water. Why? Firstly because water has zero calories. Secondly because water will help to flush out your body of antioxidants, which will help you to lose weight.

It is recommended to drink atleast 8 glasses of water a day. Another reason why water is so good for you is because it helps to fill you up. If you drink a large glass of water before each meal you will eat less.

Eating & the fastest way to lose weight

I recommend eating atleast 5 small meals a day. The most important meal is breakfast which should never be skipped. Make sure you have a healthy but fulfilling breakfast every morning to stop you from snacking throughout the day.

The reason I say 5 small meals is because you will be drinking a lot of water so you can half what you normally eat in a meal and have 5 small meals a day to keep you from feeling hungry.

Vitamins

Our body needs the right ingredients to stay healthy and lose weight. Generally by eating healthily we can get enough vitamins but it also a good idea to take some daily vitamins to top ourselves up.

Do we need to exercise?

And of course probably the best thing you can do to lose weight fast is to exercise everyday. Health experts recommend to stay healthy that you do 30 mins of light exercise a day, but to lose weight we should be doing more. Start off with 30 mins a day and then try to work your way up to more.

Try and get yourself into a routine of doing a 30 minute swim a day at least and before you know it the pounds will be dropping off.

These are some general guidelines on the fastest way to lose weight that if you follow every day you cant fail to lose weight.
