By dewar attica

With the year 2008 almost finished The major movie companies produced over three hundred movies. Out of all these movies, something like 70, or so, are in the comedic genre. Here are some of the most popular laughers put on screen this year.

FORGETTING SAHRAH MARSHALL: Following a devastating break up with his girlfriend Sarah, a television actor, Peter (Jason Segal) decides to get away to a Hawaiian resort to get over his misery. As fate would have it, when he arrives at his hotel, he looks up and sees his ex girlfriend and her new lover, a rock star super stud. This film is a thoughtful romantic comedy.

GET SMART: Maxwell Smart, as agent 86, makes a return to the big screen, "and loving it". The classic James Bond spy spoof, agents hidden in plants, and all the great one liners. This is a modern day version that looks back at the antics of Maxwell Smart.

HAMLET 2: Unsucessful actor Dana Marshz now finds himself teaching theater classes at the high school to uninspired high schoolers. The school loses a building due to destruction, so the powers to be feel the acting classes will be what is dropped. Fully inspired, he plans to save the program by producing Hamlet 2, a new version of the classic, which he put to paper himself.

MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA: As you might imagine, this is the sequel to the animated smash hit Madagascar. The small group of animal friends want to go back to the Central Park Zoo, and go back to the lives they know. With things going wrong again, as the Penguins are up to their old tricks, they are off to their true homeland, Africa.

PINEAPPLE EXPRESS: Heavy pot smoker Dale Denton has just witnessed a bad police officer, and a big time dealer, kill someone. He was spotted witnessing the killing. Understanding that he has been seen, he is so shaken he throws down his joint, a rare blend namend pineapple express, and runs. The marijuana is particular enough, that the bad guys can trace it. The "fun" is on, the bad guys are hunting, and Dale and dealer Saul are now running for their lives.

ROLE MODELS: Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (William Scott), who sell energy drinks, are facing jail time because they binged, and trashed the company truck. The way they can avoid going to prison is by doing communuty service. They are assigned to mentor some kids in a community service program. Let the fun begin.

STEP BROTHERS: When two 40 year olds, who each live with their single parents, are now going to share a room because their parents have wed, you can only imagine the mess. Casting John Reilly and Will Ferrell playing the parts, and the conditions are right for a funny movie. This film is a best bet for a good laugh in 2008.

TROPIC THUNDER: Starting with an incredible cast this film is a claasic parody of popular war films. To get a realistic performance from his spoiled actors to make a first rate war movie, the now venturesome director into the wild, and leaves them there by themselves. The goal is to frightnen them into making a war movie monster, which will be caught on hidden cameras in the area. Unbelievabley, as the director steps on an old land mine and dies, the actors are now truely on their own, and they are covinced everything is just an act, when things start to get very real. Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., and Tom Cruise star.

ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO: The bills aren't getting paid and Zack and Miri, platonic friends since childhoold, need to come up with some cash soon. The answer? Oh, thats easy, start making pornos. As you might expect this situation makes for a great comedy.

All of these movies, and virtually any other movie ever made, are yours to buy, pick up as a rental, or even download right onto your computer. Getting movie downloads from internet vendors is now one of the most popular ways to get movies. Look on the internet to locate websites to start getting free downloads. This is a very good way to build a huge library of films.
