With todays home entertainment systems, many of us get movie rentals at least a few times a month. Often people wait for the rental, instead of going to the movies. Here is a short list of some of the highest volume rentals in October.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: Indiana is back in action, after a 19 year hiatus. This is the fourth movie of the exploits of the infamous Indiana Jones. In this episode an older Indiana takes on the Russians. This time, it's off top the amazone to search for some South American relics, which are thought to have secret powers.

THE LAZARUS PROJECT: Former criminal Ben Garvey seems to have gotten his act together. With a loving wife and child, and steady paycheck, life is going in the right direction. Then, he unexplicably loses his steady paycheck, and he turns to crime for the solution. People are killed, and he is convicted, and sentenced to die. He is sent to die. Shockingly, he now finds himself in a psychiatric ward. He now fights for his sanity, and his spritual well being.

LINEWATCH: Well likes Michael Dixon is a boarder man in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. Now, things in his past are about to catch up with him. He grew up in a violent Los Angeles gang, but he had the courage to leave. When simple bad luck gives away his location to his old gang, he and his family are in a dangerous situation. For the sake of his family, he will take a huge risk, and ensure that the gang can move a large drug shipment across the border.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This movie is about Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton), who has been transformed into the Hulk. This box office hit tells of the marvel comic hero, the Incredible Hulk. Actors Edward Norton, Tim Roth, William hurt, Liv Tyler play key roles in this film. This film is directed by Louis Leterrier. The film genre is sci-fi/action.

DECEPTION: Jonathan McQuarry (ewan mcgregor) has a chance meeting with charismatic corporate lawyer Wyatt Bose. It is a meeting that turns his life upside down. John is exposed to "The List", which offers a decadent sexual pleasures. Unfortunately, he is also led into a world of corruption, treason and murder.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: Searching for his lost brother, a science professor sets out on a journey that sends him into the depths of our planet. This is a remake of the original 1959 movie, that was created from the classic novel by highly acclaimed author Jules Verne. Cast includes Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutchinson, Anita Briem, and Seth Myers.

THE HAPPENING: Science teacher Elliot Moore, with his wife and many other frightened people are escaping Philadelphia by train. The northeastern U.S. has been thrown into chaos. People have been afflicted by some strange illness, and are dying at their own hands. Can we find an answer, or is this the last stand of the human race?

IRON MAN: Super stud, engineering expert, Tony Stark is attacked and taken by Afghan insurgents. They try to force him to create weapon systems for the insurgent group. He sustained injuries while he was being captured, and has shrapnel stuck in his chest. To overcome his wound, and escape his captors, he creates a suit made of armor, that give him incredible strength and defense. We have a new comic book super hero on the scene.

SPEED RACER: An anime-cartoon gets real actors. Just like the movie The Flinstones, Speed Racer turns a cartoon to a movie with an actual cast. Speed Racer is an ambitious young man who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a very dangerous race that his older brother had died racing in. With no one expecting him to win, and the future of the family business at risk, he suprisingly teams up with his arch rival Racer X, to attempt to take the title, so the family business won't go under.
