Awesome 2009 Wedding Colors

By Trecia Linzi

Is your favorite wedding color choice a hot trend color for 2009? What wedding colors really are hot for 2009? In 2007, and 2008 soft pastels were the trend, but they were so popular, they may also lead the way for 2009 wedding trend colors.

You will also likely see bright, bold colors emerge as well. Fashion experts agree that there will be an influx of bright colors, leaning toward the exotic. While you certainly wouldn't want to go overboard, a bride that wants to strut her style with her 2009 wedding colors will want to make a bold splash of color if she wants to keep in with the current style trends.

How, you might be wondering, can you add this splash of bold color without going overboard? One thing will want to definitely do is to keep the primary areas traditional. This includes keeping the bridal gown classic. Bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen clothing should be color coordinated as well. From there, you can make a statement with the flower arrangements, table centerpieces and the trim on the cake.

Bright yellows and turqoise will be very popular, and when mixed with a tropical theme, what a beautiful wedding sight that would be!You could also have wedding favor boxes decorated with yellow and blue ribbon, as well as color coordinated place settings.

Another color scheme that is certain to be popular is using oranges along with peach tones, and then using very bright orange as an occasional splash of color; such as with ribbon to tie wedding favor boxes, or to tie balloon bouquets with. Tiger Lillies for the bridal bouquets would be a great choice.

Pinks, of course are always stylish. But bold pink colors are now emerging on the wedding scene. Since 2009 is about new beginnings, why not make a statement of new beginnings with the brighter, bolder colors?

As with any of the other bright colors, this will go over quite well as you follow the same technique that was mentioned previously, keeping the bridal attire traditional for the most part, then adding your splash of bright colors with the wedding decor.
